MediaRECOVER™ is a digital image recovery program. The program recovers lost photos, audio, and video from hard drives,
removable media used in digital cameras, PDA's and other storage devices. Common media types supported by the program are:
SmartMedia , CompactFlash, Memory Stick, MicroDrive, xD Picture Card Flash Card, PC Card, Multimedia Card, Secure Digital
Card, Zip Disks, floppy disks, and other media. If images are accidentally deleted or formatted in a camera or on a computer
MediaRECOVER™ retrieves your lost images, audio, and video even if the media is corrupted. Recovers the following types of
files:
|
• Images - JPEG, EXIF, TIFF, PNG, GIF, BMP, others
• RAW Image files- Canon CRW, Nikon NEF, Kodak DCR, others
• Audio/video clips - AVI, MOV, MPG/MPEG, others
• Office Files, PDF's, others
MediaRECOVER™ Image Recovery software helps you repair files that are unusable due to the following:
• Corruption due to the card being pulled out while the camera is on
• Corruption due to turning the camera off during a write process
• Inadvertent camera/computer shutdown
• Data corruption to critical areas
• Formatting and using between different cameras/computers
• Other events that could cause damage to data
|
Format Corrupt Media
The Format Option writes new system files to the media. This allows the card to be read from your computer or camera again.
The Format Option corrects the media when the camera/PC states that the card is “corrupt, not initialized or not mounting”. Use
the Format Option and then use the Recovery Option to get your files back from a corrupt card.
Securely Delete and Clean Media
The Wipe Option overwrites the entire card with zeros, including the file system areas completely and securely erasing the data.
This returns the media to factory settings. The Wipe Option is also useful to wipe old data off of your media. |
