On Friday, February 22, 2008, at The Liberty Grand Entertainment Complex, Exhibition Place, Meagan's Walk: Creating a Circle of Hope will be hosting the seventh annual Meagan's Walk Dinner and Dance Gala. This event is the official kick off leading up to Meagan's Walk on Mother's Day.
Child_Saved & Sound is an initiative created by CoreMicro. It's purpose is to raise awareness and funds for the well being , health and safety of our children.
PHASE ONE
CoreMicro's Child_Saved & Sound program ( Phase 1) was established in March of 2006, the initial inception was to create a volunteer organization which would create awareness and raise funds for b.r.a.i.n.child ( brain tumor research assistance and information network) an organization affiliated with SICK KIDS. The benefit of donating to b.r.a.i.n.child is that 100% of your donation will go directly to the purchasing of equipment, technology and the funding of the doctors who administer the treatment. This means for ever dollar you donate, 100% will go to the b.r.a.i.n.child.

PHASE TWO
CoreMicro's Child_Saved & Sound program also looks to better the overall mental and physical health of our children buy sponsoring local community baseball and soccer teams. In 2008 CoreMicro will be launching ( Phase 2 ) of it's Child_Saved and Sound program. This initiative will aggressively seek partnership agreements with major corporations to help develop a product packaging strategy which would donate a percentage of goods sold to the Child_Saved & Sound Program.
Our goals for 2008 are :
Continuously donate and assist the funding of the b.r.a.i.n.child network and SICK KIDS Hospital
Compile and publish a portal micro- site which will provide parents valuable information about what their children are doing online, and how to protect them.
Sponsor youth focused programs designed to promote physical activities and children interaction
Sponsor little league sports organizations and teams
Sponsor and support the children's arts community
Distribute the progress to all the Child_Saved & Sound members, partners, supporters and sponsors
Initiate programs and activities designed to keep our children active, healthy and alert. Educate our children about the importance of face-to-face interaction and physical activity.
